04 / Review & export

SVG carries physical dimensions. DXF declares millimetres and preserves layer names. STL is unitless: import it as mm. Colour 3MF includes face materials.

Geometry & import report

Import a file to see dimensions, compatibility notes and model checks.

Built for the way you make

Use the preset as a starting point, inspect the preview, then check the geometry report before exporting. Open DXF strokes become walls in 3D; filled vectors retain their holes. Relief uses brightness as height; lithophanes make dark areas thicker. These photographic modes use the prepared source image, not traced contours.

Privacy, compatibility & limits

All libraries are bundled with this tool. Artwork stays in memory in your browser. Only settings may be stored locally; no artwork or analytics is transmitted. SVG scripts and external resources are removed. Convert text to paths before importing. ASCII DXF supports lines, polylines with bulges, circles, arcs, ellipses, splines and planar faces; unsupported entities are reported. Raster inputs are processed at up to 1200 pixels, with a 40 megapixel decode limit. Curve flattening, tracing and grid-based relief are approximations. Mesh checks detect open/non-manifold edges and degenerate triangles; they do not certify printer fit or identify every self-intersection. Check final files in your slicer or CAD tool.
